A piece in my Celestial Bodies series, I make the Europa Earrings by hand-forming the long, elegant ovals in Sterling Silver and 18K Yellow Gold, then I add one perfect diamond to the front of each earring.  I oxidized the Silver parts using a fine-tipped brush, painting only where I want the metal to take the color.  Ear wires are also hand-formed of 18K Yellow Gold, and of course come with rubber backs to keep them secure.  Overall earring length is about 3 1/4 inches.  Earrings, which rotate elegantly, are about 1 1/4 inches wide.
